Ru and I had a pretty good day yesterday with a couple long naps. Last night didn't go quite as well and my loves are catching up on some zzzs this morning.

Our daughter turned 8 weeks old and was baptized yesterday. Such a wonderful day!

If the little one was waiting for her room to be finished, she doesn't have to wait anymore. I just had one outstanding project and I finished it tonight. So now we're finally ready for the reveal! The room is going from Office/Guest Room/Craft Room to Nursery/Guest Room/Craft Room. We're going to teach her to share early. Are you ready?!? Before and After Pics: We (okay, mostly me) decided to go with a Dr. Seuss theme, but I didn't want it to be too SEUSS!!! So I put some obvious Seuss elements in and in other places used Seuss as more of an inspiration. Here are some close-ups of the various projects I did: Fabric Ruffle 'Lanterns' They're not actually lanterns. I used a foam ball as the base, but I got the idea here . Butterfly and Bead Mobile This would have been beautiful over the crib, but I already had the lanterns over the crib, so this had to go elsewhere. I still love it, though. Go

I've barely taken any photos in the last nine months, except for this set: Finally last week I had a chance (and the energy) to bring my camera on a short walk. Many of the beautiful tulips aren't as beautiful anymore (it was a great year for tulips!), but I managed to capture a few pretty flowers, nonetheless. I'm not totally in love with these pictures. I'm obviously very out of practice in my photography! But I'll share anyway. If you like my photography (and many of you tell me you do), PLEASE leave comments on my pictures. I'm always looking for ideas!

This might help explain: Yep! We're expecting! It is most likely a girl and we're very excited. Unfortunately for my Photo 365 project last year, the morning sickness/all day nausea hit me hard and I just didn't have the energy to continue. Now I'm working on projects for the little one's room. Here's the first sneak peak. What could it be? You'll just have to wait for the final reveal to find out. If you like my photography (and many of you tell me you do), PLEASE leave comments on my pictures throughout this year. I don't know if I'll be able to continue without that encouragement.
