So far so good, but it hasn't even been 12 hours yet, so we'll see how it goes. Man, am I glad I hold on to these things! Unfortunately for me, and anyone that enjoys my photo of the day, my computer appears to be on its last legs. I've been getting the dreaded blue screen for a while now, and tonight it won't even stay on for long before freezing or restarting itself. It appears to be a hardware issue, which I could probably attempt to troubleshoot, but the poor box is 4.5 years old. It may just be time to throw in the towel (and a chunk of our savings) and look for a new computer. In any case,  I won't be able to edit pictures, let alone post them on a regular basis, so my 2014 photo of the day is on hiatus until further notice.

So nice to be able to finally open the windows for a few hours! I also sat outside for a while to enjoy the sun on my face. Too bad there's snow in our short term forecast. Spring is teasing us! Neither of my cats will take pills. This one is the worst. She'll hold them in her mouth as long as you try to hold her mouth closed and then spit them out when you think she's swallowed them. I gave up on pills a long time ago. Luckily now that she needs an antibiotic, it comes in a liquid form and can be mixed with some wet food. She LOVES wet food and they don't get it very often. So they've been spoiled this week as she needs to take her medicine every night. This is probably going to come back and bite me next week when we're done with the meds... Lake Michigan isn't completely frozen over, but it is over 80% frozen. More than it's been in a long time. This is probably her favorite spot in the house. Almost every time I sit/lay on this couch, she's up there looking to get in her spot and doesn't take no for an answer. She's very persistent and very patient while she waits for me to be distracted enough she can sneak in. Of course, usually it's hard to say no. How do you say no to this face?
